Miller was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and has lived all over the world with his longest stay being in NYC. Miller moved back to California in 2011 after marrying his wife Libby on their favorite island, Nantucket. They now live in Sonoma, the heart of Wine Country, where he works professionally in event documentation, wine industry photography, architectural imagery and portraiture. In 2014 he began working with the fantastic events teams at Google, documenting events ranging from small intimate gatherings to large-scale company events. Miller has created images for a growing clientele, such as Google, Amano Studio Jewelry, The Theater School, Sonoma Arts Live, Teen Services Sonoma, We Players, Jeff Gafner’s Saxon Brown winery, and Nest Labs.
Early on, Miller developed an affinity for the arts, theatre in particular, where he excelled in his theatrical endeavors. In 2004 he moved to The Big Apple and found his adoration for the stage taking a back seat to the still image, his greatest love. In New York City, he worked for publications such as the Brooklyn Rail and Timeout NY. While attaining his bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Media Studies from The New School University, he worked on independent films and commercials in a multitude of rolls including: stills photographer, actor, key grip, grip, and gaffers assistant. These experiences, as well as extensive travels spanning over twenty countries, have inspired his creative eye and skill as a visual artist.
Miller would love to work with you and create the stunning visual images that you desire.
